SNOW SHOES



There are times to give up and head for home and a warm bath. Footballers simply kick an opponent when this moment arrives, but mountaineers have to use more subtle means to turn homewards with good grace. Tartan Hen is, therefore, proud to introduce the BONNINGTON snow shoe specifically for this purpose.These are perfectly normal snow shoes. Their sole purpose is to facilitate a noble self-sacrificing action. Not many people carry snowshoes and it is therefore easy to find circumstances where you can lend them to a companion before yourself turning homewards. Each snow shoe carries a small bronze plaque bearing the text.
